Armagh, Pennsylvania is a small borough located in the central part of Westmoreland County. It is home to a variety of public and private schools that serve its small population of 450. Armagh has two elementary schools: Armagh Elementary School and Everson Elementary School, both of which are rated highly by the state's Department of Education. The middle school serving the area is Greater Latrobe Middle School, which also holds high ratings from the state department. The area's only high school is Greater Latrobe Senior High School, which has consistently been one of the best-performing schools in Westmoreland County. All four schools offer a wide variety of activities and programs for their students, ranging from sports teams to music and other enrichment classes. In addition to these local schools, there are several institutions nearby that cater to higher education, such as Seton Hill University and Saint Vincent College. Ultimately, Armagh provides its students with access to quality educational institutions both inside and outside the borough's borders.
